Our story - by Kalli

It all began in October 2007 when David came across my MySpace page and realised that I wasn't just a "very militant" (his words) person but very serious and passionate about my music ministry… the internet's a wonderful thing isn't it?! LOL

He asked if I would listen to some instrumentals he'd created & help him brainstorm some ideas for songs to go with them. So what was originally David's project that Kalli was helping on, soon became David AND Kalli's project.

When it became apparent that something more was developing between us the first thing we did was turn to God for guidance. That's how the song "Till God tells me yes" was born at 2am on Sunday 4th November 2007. I wrote the first verse, chorus & bridge, recorded it and sent it to David who wrote the rest. David got his answer before I got mine, but after some prayer and fasting God 'told me "yes"' on Monday 19th November.

When David proposed in June 08 that sparked even more prayer and study to which God responded by showing me three Bible texts. Psalm 90: 11-12, Ecclesiastes 9:7-10 and Ecclesiastes 11:4-6.

God has proved over and over again that He has ordained our union and he has blessed and enriched our lives and individual relationships with him through one another. All we had to do was seek Him first and show Him in our hearts that regardless of whatever He had in store for us God is enough.

God's will for you must be enough to make you happy, WHATEVER that will may be. Until you have reached that place He can't give you all the blessings He wants to.
